Sorry for the delay of update !!

Didn't went to my friend house. Today is my last piano lesson!!

Instead I went to library with PT,HL and Joy.

Had my practise there and also to record the final video.

Was so nervous! As it is my first time to practise in the public.

NG many times for the final video.

However, sadly to say the final video wasn't as good as i though. The more i NG the more mistake i made!

Was actullay quite pissed off and thanks to Hui Ling who helped me record down the video. >.<

Still, I have completed my goal!!!!!!! *HAPPY*!!!!!!

And I hope that next time in future i will still have the chance to learn piano!!! XD

Also thanks to my friend who had teach me how to play piano !!!! >.<

Today lesson as normal. Increase my speed for that song.

Still, problem occurred.

Funny thing was whenever it reach to recording, everything just don't go well!

Then when it was not recording at least i was able to play that song with lesser/without mistake compare to those videos below!!!

Next week is the last lesson. I hope it will be a SMOOTH RECORDING!

About a week i have not touch piano ! Sometimes it was good. Sometimes it was bad.

Today recording was disappointing!

Should had been much much BETTER!

And the more i wanted to make it right, the more mistake i made!! :s

However one good news was i had reach the speed 100 which was suppose to be 60. :D

But another problem was, whenever my left hand were to move to another position of the piano, it drag my speed down. Which resulting in play and pause . Play and pause!

Second attempt: Left hand still not fast enough. Or can say right hand can't cooperate with left hand?

No piano lesson this week. :[ Reason is because my friend is sick so the lesson was cancel.

Well, the only thing i could do was to keep playing that song. As people always said, listen to the song more and you will know the rhythm better. :]

Wish that i could play this song well ^.*

WENT FOR MY PIANO LESSON JUST NOW. ENDED AT 2.30PM!!!

TODAY!

I AM ABLE TO PLAY THE RHYTHM OUT!!!! I AM ABLE TO PLAY THE TEMPO!!!

FINALLY!!!!

NOW I KNOW WHAT SONG I AM PLAYING. WHAT TUNE I AM PLAYING.

THE MOST HAPPYEST PIANO LESSON I HAD!!!!!

It's a wonderful thing! Once i know the tune, i know when i should play it fast and when i should play it slow. **HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took a video down, but is with my friend so i will post the video other time.

However, don't hope too much for the video because it wasn't very well play.

I only get to know the tune and tempo after taking that video down. hahas.

BUT STILL!!! OMG!!! I AM SO DAMN HAPPY!!! Till....

On the way home my mind kept re-playing that music!!!

HEY!!! I AM HERE AGAIN!!! XD

Went for my lesson yesterday after school.

Ok. I admit that i am really lousy at tempo!

I just can't followed the right tempo, which made me felt so frustrated!

Moreover, yesterday I wasn't in the mood of learning, maybe due to the fact that i am tired?

However, things did get better. At least now i am able to move my hands "auto-ly"(although it is still not very good).

Somehow, while playing I felt that i play this song too sadly. As it was suppose to be a happy song. Maybe is it because I am still in the process of learning that's why it is like that?

Went for my piano lesson today!!!

I had finished learning all the three pages!!!! YUPPIES!!!!

But now, there is one super big problem.

The rhythm. THE RHYTHM!!! OH MY GOD! I can't catch up nor follow the right rhythm. That is why even though i had know how to play the song without any notes wrong, the tune still can't be hear.

Now i know rhythm is very important. As i always though that as long as you know how to play the song, it will be enough.

So for the rest of the lesson and other lessons, i will be focusing on my rhythm.

Funny thing was, even though i know how to play the whole song, but only till the chours part i can tell what actually i am playing!! The rest of the bars when i play , i couldn't recognised the tune.

This song which i play i guess most of you had listened before.

opps. But those videos below i don't think you will be able to tell what excatly i am playing!!

However, I FELT THAT I HAD IMPROVED!!! IMPROVED A LOT!!!! XD

YO!!!!

Today is indeed much more better then last Saturday!

YEAH!!! *Cheers for me* XD

Didn't practise any new bars , but was practising those bars that i had learnt during the past few lessons.

Well, it's getting better and better. Sad thing was i did not bring my handphone today!!! If not i definitely will video it down!!

Nevermind, next time then . hahas..

But problems still occurred, i still got confuse with where the letter F and G are. Worse, there is another two more letter that i get confuse. Which is the Letter A and B!!!
Arghh!!!
Kind of pissed off whenever i got those 4 letters wrong!!!!

However, at least today my mood for piano came back !! YUPPIES!!!
I was able to play much more smoothly then the past two lessons. Just that i don't know why whenever i was playing the piano, i tend to press it super hard! HAHA!! So scare that i might spoilt my friend piano. :S

Overall today was great!

After lesson ended, was her turn to play piano haha!!
She played the song canon and kiss the rain!!!
The moment i saw those two scores, i laughed out loud!!
Her scores and my scores make a super big different! Mine was much and super more easy then hers hahs!!

HEY!!! I am back!
Sorry for the lack of update. :S

Last Saturday went for my piano lesson.
Last Saturday was really not my day for learning piano!
I wasn't in the mood, i wasn't in the interested mood.
I felt restless, maybe due to the fact that there is test after test. Homework to be done. Project to be submited.

I felt frustrated while playing the piano. I don't know why. Somehow i suddenly seemed to lost interest in playing. All i wanted to do at that time is to sleep! However after that i still have to work.

During the piano lesson, although those bars were repeated, but my hand just can't seemed to be cooperating with me.
Playing with the left hand was still alright for me, but whenever i started playing using my right hand, i seemed to forget where are all the letters! This made me stopped several times just to search for the letter. I am especially confused with the placing of letter E and letter F. I am always getting those two letter wrong!
Then when i started playing using my both hand, i couldn't play well. I worried too much for where those letters are. Which led me to play my left hand using the bar which was supposed to play with the right hand! With this, i got even more fouled up!

WHY IS LEARNING PIANO SO DIFFICULT!!! ALL THOSE 3 PAGES OF SCORES ARE ONLY JUST REPEATING, JUST THAT THERE IS ONLY A SIGHTLY CHANGE. HOW COME I ENCOUNTED SO MUCH DIFFICULTES IN PLAYING IT?

Somehow, i doubt if i can accomplished this goal?

Well, tomorrow i am having the piano lesson for this week. Hope it will be much much more better then last week . XD

Today is my first lesson of piano!!!

Went to Ming Yee house at around 9.30 in the morning.

There's a slight change in the planning, as i decided to learn to play using my left and right hand at the same time. As mention in my report, i wrote that i will learn to play using my right hand first.

However, i think that learning to play both hand at the same time will help me to learn and catch the rhythm faster. So that i will have more time to practice.

Actually, i intend to learn the song " From this moment" or "When you believe". However, those two songs is not for beginner as it is quite complex. In the end i decided to play the song "It's a small world". This song is a piece of Disneyland theme.

Guess what grade is that song?

IT IS GRADE 3!!!!!

It seems to be an easy song, however when you are learning it, IT DON'T SEEMS EASY AT ALL!!

First day of lesson, i had already encounted problems.

I need to learn how to read the score sheet. I need to remember the rhythm in my heart when i was playing. I need to know the fingering, so that it will be easier for me to play.

WOW!! There are so many things to be done at the same time! How am i going to cope? I spent almost 20min to write out the notes for just 3 bar code! Till today, i realised that my hands are not flexible!!! When i was playing the piano, i just felt that all my fingers' bones is weak and it's stuck! Especially my left hand. Due to that, whenever my thumb is on the note"c" and the last finger on the note"A", the note"A" could never be heard! It's all because i either don't have enough time(which mean i am already lagging behind of the rhythm) or it is because my last finger can't press the piano hardly! Moreover, it is so funny when i press it hard, it was like i am having a stroke!!

However, overall went quite well and the process of learning piano is FUN AND INTERESTING!

OH MY GOD!! All of a sudden when i was playing, i can't find the letters. Worse still, i don't where i stop, so i pause for a while. First is to find the letters on the piano. Secondly, is to figure out where i stop at! However, in the end i still couldn't make it. :[

NG for the two times! What will it be for the third time?

FINALLY, I am playing on the right track for the first bar.

Hmm..so what about the second bar?

Now came the second bar..

Proud to say that i had taken no NG for the second bar! I did it once and for all!! YEAH!!*cheers for me*

hmm..but did i seemed to be pressing the piano too hard? @.@ I could see that my left fingers was using so much strength. *laugh*

!!! This video is funny!! While playing, all of a sudden i still can't find the note"A" and i was like "WHERE IS THE A WHERE IS THE NOTE A!!!" Still no good enough, i need lots and lots of practise. It seems that i am still "very hard" with the piano!

Ok...finally i am playing both bar at the same time. Although it was still not perfect, however i still manage to play all without wrong. :D

Comments from Ming Yee: At my level, i am consider a fast learner! :D I just need to practice more . And that practice make perfect! I also need to look out for my fingering and my hand position. As both of my hands were always down, it'll make the process of playing piano more difficult for me. Also that way of playing is not the correct way to play a piano. Moreover, i need to cut my finger nail short. As they will click on the keys and get in the way. I need to attack the keys with the fleshy part of my fingertip. If the nail is too long, I will not be able to do this.

Time passed really fast, especially when you are learning things that you like ! :]

When people talk about piano history, they usually say that the piano originated around the year 1700 in Florence, Italy.

In 1709, the “pianoforte” was first revealed as the invention of an Italian harpsichord maker named Bartolomeo Cristofori.

Cristofori based his new design on the wooden frame of a harpsichord and implemented a unique keyboarding mechanism that was similar to that of a clavichord.
Since its inception, the instrument we know today as the piano had many innovators over the past 300 years who have shaped its functionality, appearance and sound.

It had been said that the first musicians were actually hunters who experimented with ordinary hunting tools such as, the bow and arrow, and the blowgun to create the earliest sounds of music.
